Let me start by wishing you and your families a happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

For me, now and until the first of the year, it is a special time to give thanks and enjoy our families.

My bog post back in August spoke of my thanks for my wife, family, extended family , my mentors, my talents, my God.

Earlier this month, I spoke of the thanks we should all have for our military members–past and present.

Wallace Wattles in the Science of Getting Rich states that “many people who order their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude”

Think about that quote. Reflect on how that may or may not apply to you.

Mr Wattles also discusses how worry, anger, depression are impossible in any kind of genuine gratitude.

“Genuine” is the key. Are you truly grateful?

I challenge you all to take 5 minutes–just 5 minutes after reading this to list 10 things in your life you are truly grateful for. Then upon rising and again just before you go to sleep , add another item to build your list . Let’s do this for the balance of the year. It’s time to give gratitude some focus in your life.

I would also like to hear from you, so please share your list or items from your list–I’ll share these without revealing your full name. Let’s see how big of a list we can build !!

Happy Thanksgiving !!
