My wife, Mary Ann & I were at the Chocolate Gallery Cafe for breakfast this morning and I was stopped by another frequent customer. She told me she recently lost her best friend and that my book, A Leprechaun in Your Pocket, has been “invaluable” the last few weeks in helping her deal with her loss.
Yes, that is what it is all about. I’m glad I could help in some small way. Most of the time I write I am trying to help someone. I never know whom that may be. I never know if it is a little help or maybe even a life saving piece of inspiration.
I have had many people write or call me and tell me how this book and my other books and writings have helped. Some comments have been shocking to me and darn near moved me to tears. I haven’t made a bunch of money selling books but I know they have had an impact.
A Leprechaun in Your Pocket is all inspiration. We all need some inspiration from time to time in our lives.
I’m proud and moved when I can help. I hope copies of this book get in the hands of the people who truly need it. Anything that happens after that is all gravy.

Thank you for sharing this post and I know from personal experience as a psychotherapist and motivational coach how profound your work is with people.
Your philosophy of helping others no matter what is well known and often a surprise to you.
I have also co-authored with you and others ‘Dance Until it Rains’ as well as participating in a Mastermind program which was a pleasure and honour. I love hearing your American accent when we speak together (I am from Aussie) and used to have many laughs about it.
Thanks for all the kind words Judi-appreciate it ! (no we do not talk funny ! :))
